ICF Walls
Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) are used to pour a concrete wall instead of the conventional wood plank or plywood form. This method creates an efficient alternative to wood forms, sealing exceptionally well and providing a thicker layer of insulation, leading to energy savings. After the concrete is set, fastener strips embedded in the insulation allow for finishes like drywall and siding to be attached, providing similar utility as wood forms.
